Frequently Asked Questions

Individual eyelashes are smaller groups of synthetic fibres applied directly to your natural lashes. They come in a variety of sizes (from 8 mm to 14 mm) and allow for a custom look.

Strip lashes are a single band that covers the entire eyelid. Generally quicker and easier to apply, these are great for when you need quick glam.

Single lashes can be difficult to apply if you’ve never done it before. But with practice and finding the right balance of clusters for your eye, the process becomes more manageable.

Individual false lashes can be applied using angled tweezers and, if needed, scissors for trimming. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown:

1. Hold one of the longer lash clusters against your actual lashes to determine if trimming is necessary for a more ‘natural’ blend.

2. Place a small amount of lash glue onto a clean surface, like the lash tray itself. Then, allow the glue to become tacky by waiting 30 to 60 seconds before application.

3. Position a mirror below your face and look down to expose your lash line for better visibility.

4. Then, gently pick up one of your individual lash extensions with tweezers, dip the base into the adhesive, and place it onto your natural lashes. For the best finish, we recommend starting from the outer corner and moving inward

5. Gently press your natural and false lashes together using your fingers or a lash applicator: this should make sure they’re fully stuck down.

6. While optional, you can also apply eyeliner to your upper waterline to conceal any gaps and give the illusion of ‘thicker’ lashes.

Generally, we don’t recommend wearing individual lashes to bed. Our false eyelashes are designed for temporary wear, and should be removed before sleeping to prevent issues such as:

Natural lash damage: If worn overnight, the weight and movement of your new false lashes could cause strain on your natural lashes. You may experience premature shredding or breakage without proper care.

False lash damage: Who wants to ruin their lashes before they’ve even had a chance to wear them properly? Sleep in them, and they may become misshapen.

Bacteria: No-one wants an eye infection, and leaving false lashes on over long periods of time could trap dirt and bacteria.

You can remove individual eyelash extensions by soaking a cotton pad in makeup remover or micellar water. Gently press the pad onto your closed eyelid and hold for about 20 seconds to loosen the adhesive.

Then, carefully slide the lashes off without pulling.
